Westport

Working with Michael Laird Architects, KSLD designed the lighting in the public entrance and corridor areas for the Westport Offices, a new multi-storey commercial block in Edinburgh. The lighting function had to zone out different uses of the space as well as allow for flexibility of use in the future. Feature linear LED strips were integrated into the timber wall panelling; these act as identity lighting to this space when the rest of the general lighting is turned off at night to minimise energy consumption.
