The Radisson SAS Royal Viking Hotel is nestled in the heart of Stockholm close to all the city's attractions and offers some of the best dining, rooms and meeting facilities. Light is a key design element in the Royal Viking Hotel. Working with White Arkitekter, KSLD introduced light elements into the floor, walls and ceilings. Using colour change fittings, the sentinals in the entrance create an ever-changing welcome motif that guide the visitor across the glowing floor to the reception area. This is characterised by light-emitting vertical surfaces in the desk and the wall behind. The restaurant, bar and lounge areas all have unique lighting elements that respond to the materials and surfaces of the interior design.
