Since 2005, KSLD have been employed by the City of Edinburgh Council to provide festive lighting for the facade of the historic City Chambers building. In 2005 KSLD designed and produced a giant Advent Calendar that was projected onto the facade with a Pani Projector. Each day from the 1st to the 24th December the projector’s slide was changed and a new character revealed. KSLD also designed slides for the period between Christmas and the Hogmanay celebrations as well as a Happy New Year slide to be revealed at midnight on the 31st December. The Advent Calendar was displayed again in 2006 and another design in 2007.
