The Centre for Contemporary Arts is located on one of the main retail routes in the centre of Glasgow and includes an existing Grade1 listed facade and Georgian villa. The space houses a theatre and cinema, a variety of gallery spaces, main reception space, circulation bridges, restaurant, bar and artist’s flat.

The main challenge of the project was to create the level of flexibility and interface the client required for a contemporary art venue within the physical constraints of the existing historic structure. The theatre and gallery spaces needed an integrated control system and cable management system, to easily accommodate touring shows.
