Having been careful to avoid getting stuck in Frankfurt in the first great Volcanic Ash debacle here I am at home in Edinburgh when I should be in New York

having an enjoyable day off before a set of meetings with Michael Graves Architects with whom we are working on the Missoni Oman. An unfortunate amount of time has been spent on the phone with Continental airlines who have now cancelled two days of flights to Scotland despite there being no restrictions so off to London tomorrow to get a flight, as long as Heathrow is open! Such is the life of an international jet set lighting designer:)
