I am delighted to present at the SLL Centenary Lecture in Glasgow on the 22nd of September.

The title of my presentation is yet to be decided…. The paper will include details of a recent NHS research project KSLD have completed, looking into patient and staff comfort within a hospital environment. This topic will be tied to my Master thesis, which included in depth research of crime and perception within urban regeneration projects.

The overall theme will outline the benefits of prior research, focussing on the specific needs of the people and place before completing a lighting design. ‘Designing for the people,’ as I like to describe it.
